This piece is still in clay and the mold is being made.
The Falcon for me is the idea of an all seeing path-finder...a powerful part of the falconer's psyche.
She is able to see through & with the bird on many levels.
But quite cool as a real falcon too - been interesting to receive ideas and views from some visiting, very much younger generation art lovers! I like that the onlookers engaged so effortlessly, had their own stories, their own reasons for why the falconer is hooded.
No matter how one interprets it, I hope that a sense of symbiotic trust between falconer and falcon permeates & percolates the air around it with a touch of integrity.
